Domestic Violence Resources in Westchester County

Quarantine can be a very dangerous arrangement for those living with abuse. There has a been a noticeable increase in domestic violence nationally and internationally since the coronavirus pandemic began (“As Cities Around the World Go On Lockdown, Victims of Domestic Violence Look For a Way Out,” Time Magazine, 3/18/20 and “UN Chief Condemns a ‘Horrifying Global Surge’ in Domestic Violence Amid Pandemic,” Huffington Post, 4/6/20). Westchester County has several resources available to survivors of domestic violence, elder abuse, and child abuse.
