The Youth Council is a group of Pelham high school students with an interest in civic engagement and a belief that helping, serving and connecting our community makes a difference.
This group of young leaders oversees club activities and community events focused on the social, emotional wellness of young people and promoting a healthy and vibrant community for everyone. Young people build leadership and life skills in a fun, social atmosphere.
Students can sign up to be part of the Pelham Together Youth Council at PMHS or the Pelham Together Club at PMS by emailing Danielle Marrero, or scanning the QR code to the right. In the Pelham Middle School, Mrs. Kitay is the club advisor.
Meetings take place every other week after school and outside of school as needed for event planning.
Some of the specific club activities and community initiatives include:
Teen/TWEEN SOCIAL Events
Students organize social events for their peers through this virtual teen center. Recent events have included a town-wide scavenger hunt, video game night and SummerFest outdoor music festival.
Say Hi Day

Positive Post-Its

Dodgeball Tournament
PT youth organize a community-wide dodgeball tournament, complete with sponsors, t-shirts and brackets, to raise money for a local cause of their choice. In the last four years, the PT youth have raised almost $20,000 to support the Anthony Senerchia Jr. Foundation for ALS.
