Youth Marijuana Use: What do we know, and what can we do?

We recently watched this webinar hosted by KNOW2PREVENT, and found it to be very informative, in particular in it's balanced look at the issues.  Interestingly, marijuana is considered a Schedule 1 Controlled Substance at the federal level (meaning it is considered to have no medicinal value, a high risk of addiction, and no safe way to use it under supervision), yet it is widely available and legal among many states for people 21+.  There are also many complicated issues relating to decriminalization and commercialization,
among others.

This webinar addresses those issues, as well as what the risks are for teens, and how to talk about this with your teen.  Resources for further information are also provided.  As KNOW2PREVENT reminds us, "You can't prevent what you don't know"

We're making the recording of the event available to you below, the presentation slides can be found here, and the visual with helpful tips can be found here.
