Specialties: My Sisters’ Place strives to end domestic violence and human trafficking through comprehensive services, advocacy, and community education. MSP works to create a world in which every individual has the basic human right to be free from gender-based violence and to engage in relationships that embrace the principles of respect, equality, and safety.

Approaches: Through direct services, we support victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence, stalking and human trafficking, in seeking safety, self-determination, and justice. Our counselors are dedicated to creating safe spaces where the voices of those impacted by abuse can be heard, supported and validated. Counselors will work side by side with clients to examine individual concerns, brainstorm available options, and develop a goal plan that first and foremost respects and honors what our client wants and feels ready to do. Through advocacy, we act as a force for social change in law and public policy. Through community education, we challenge public perceptions of intimate violence and the social inequities that give rise to it, and we promote prevention with a special emphasis on youth.
