HOP Awards

The Heart of Pelham (HOP) and HOP Jr. Awards are youth recognition awards that are given to the high school (HOP) and middle school (HOP Jr.) students.

Students are nominated by members of the community for exhibiting such traits as compassion, kindness, leadership, determination, perseverance, and integrity.

Often contributing to our community in ways that go unnoticed, this is an opportunity for Pelham adults to recognize the unsung efforts of Pelham youth. 

Awards are given twice a year and showcase the importance of living a life that demonstrates a strength of character and shared responsibility.

Local businesses, organizations, and individuals sponsor each award, which includes a gift card and other smaller, fun and sweet treats!

At a casual yet meaningful ceremony, each young person is celebrated for their contributions by family, friends, sponsors, nominators, and school administrators.
