Parents Talk Lunch & Learn (virtual - registration required)
Between busy mornings, after-school transitions, and big feelings, finding meaningful moments to connect with your child can sometimes feel challenging. But building stronger relationships doesn't have to be complicated—or time-consuming!
Join us for an interactive workshop exploring simple, practical ways to strengthen your relationship with your child through everyday interactions. Drawing on research in child development and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), we'll introduce the five PRIDE skills—Praise, Reflection, Imitation, Description, and Enjoyment—and explore how small shifts in how we play, communicate, and respond to our children can make a big difference.
We'll also discuss the power of child-led play, ways to encourage conversation, and strategies for navigating difficult transitions and big emotions.
Designed for parents and caregivers of preschool and elementary school-aged children, this welcoming workshop offers realistic tools you can put into practice right away. No perfect parenting required!
Registration IS REQUIRED. Once registered you will receive a Zoom link by email.
