Who’s Your Trusted Adult?
Every young person deserves someone they can rely on, someone who supports them. But what does that actually look like to a teen?
At our upcoming Town Hall on Trusted Adults, members of the Youth Council will share in their own words what having a “trusted adult” means to them.
The evening will also feature a video spotlighting middle school students telling both who their trusted adults are and why they matter. Students have personally invited their own trusted adults—faculty, staff, family—to join the conversation and highlight the people who are actively making an impact on their lives.
One of the greatest influential factors for ensuring youth well-being is having at least one strong connection to a mentor. This event is focused on showing our community how simple yet powerful it can be to be that person.
Join us on Tuesday April 29 at 7 PM at Daronco Town House to hear directly from Pelham’s youth, reflect on the role of trusted adults, and learn how you can be one too, if you’re not already.
