Did you know that child anxiety is one of the most treatable diagnoses in the field of mental health?
Yet it is rare to see it just go away on its own.
Upshur Bren Psychology Group, founded by two local moms, is hosting a live, in-person event for parents of children who may be struggling with anxiety, to be held at the iconic Pelham Picture House.
The event will kick off with a screening of a short documentary film about Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE), a revolutionary new treatment approach for childhood anxiety and OCD developed by Dr. Eli Lebowitz at the Yale Child Study Center.
Following the 20 minute documentary will be an engaging panel discussion with Dr. Lebowitz himself, along with Dr. Emily Upshur and Dr. Sarah Bren where parents will have the opportunity to learn more about parent-based interventions that can help your child overcome their symptoms of anxiety. Plus you’ll have a chance to ask your own questions to the panelist!
