Do you have any questions about parenting that you wish you could ask an expert?

Pelham Together is excited to offer parents the opportunity to meet in small groups with local therapists with expertise in parenting issues; participants will lead the discussion while the experts facilitate and offer guidance based on their extensive experience.

The groups may cover a variety of issues such as unstructured summer days, challenges of distance learning, work-parenting balance, children’s social and emotional issues, and family dynamics. The focus of each particular group will depend on the interests of the participants.

Lauren Rosen, LCSW, formerly worked at PMHS as the substance use counselor, and has 25 years of experience working with adolescents and families. Gus Haracopos, LCSW, currently works at the Spence School in Manhattan and has a private practice in Larchmont. Dr. Sarah Bren specializes in working with parents to foster healthy and respectful relationships with their children and develop effective parenting skills related to communication, boundaries, discipline, and helping their children to manage their big emotions. Dr. Lina Perl is a Pelham resident, and a clinical psychologist with a practice in Manhattan where she works with adolescents, adults and families. Dr. Fatima Ramos-Marcuse, a psychiatric nurse practitioner and developmental psychologist, works with children, adolescents and families to help them improve functioning and resolve challenges; she is a published author and has spoken at national and international conferences.

The groups will be held over video conferencing and limited to 6-8 people per session (with a minimum of 3 per group). Sessions are $25 per participant and can be paid via Venmo at @Laura-Caruso-15.

Please sign up here and you will receive a separate email with a Zoom link for your group date/time.
