Helping Your Child Develop Executive Functioning Skills
On April 15th we hosted Helping Your Child Develop Executive Functioning Skills, a virtual workshop for parents and caregivers led by Emily Rubin Persons, PCC of SKIP Coaching and certified ADHD Coach.
The session provided an explanation of the executive functioning skills that are needed for children and teens to manage a full schedule of school, activities, social life and self. We explored how academics are impacted by developing executive skills and strategies that parents can use to help their kids develop those skills. Additionally, practical tips for advocating for your neurodivergent child/ children to receive appropriate school supports were discussed.
A recording of the workshop and presentation slides are available below.
We hope to host Ms. Rubin Persons again in the future, but in the meantime, please feel free to reach out to her with any questions or follow up at emily@skipcoaching.com or visit her website at www.skipcoaching.com.
