WinterFest '26 Rocked! (And Cooked!)
On a very bright Saturday afternoon in February, Winterfest brought the community together to enjoy live music and homemade food. Masters of ceremonies Brayden Clark and Kash Patel helped carry the energy into the night, hyping up the musicians and chefs.
The musicians came ready to rock
Pelhamite Jack Cohen kicked off the event with NF, Macklemore, and DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince. Musical acts Two Minutes To Midnight, The Jenners, Camille Rowe, Jade D’Amore, Taya Senerchia, Static, and 7th Ave followed with a range of folk, rock, and pop songs for the crowd. During intermission, PMS and PMHS students held an open poetry mic, with some reciting original works. From the rowdy start with 9-year old Jack, to the intimacy of the poems, to the sing-along fun of classics, to the wild and impressive Led Zeppelin finale from our seniors in 7th Ave, the night captured the full spirit of Winterfest.
The local chefs blew us away
Local chefs included the Apmann family with their Dragonfire Chili; Linda Woodward with 5-Cheese Mac and Cheese; Suzanne Snyder with Buffalo Meatballs; eighth-grader, Judah Glantz with Japanese Sweetcorn Soup; and Chris Caruso with Irish Guinness Stew. Pelham’s very own businesses also showed out to support the youth: Four Corners Pizza, Gigi with Mediterranean pita pockets, Skylight Kitchen with Indian chicken curry, and Cantina Lobos with Mexican churros. After tasting each meal, our judges determined Judah Glantz and the Apmann family as 2026’s One-Pot Cook Off Winners, with honorable mention dedicated to Linda Woodward.
Thank you, Pelham!
Thank you to all of our amazing volunteers, including Anna Jenner for coordinating the talent, the Girl Scouts for making delicious hot chocolate, PT Board Members for set-up and clean-up, The Loft for donating equipment, the Town for the space and providing our constable, and each of our many teens who showed up with a set of hands for all the jobs over the course of the night! A special shoutout to Congressman George Latimer, Senator Fernandez, Legislator Terry Clements, and Mayor Chance Mullen for joining and supporting our youth!
