Recap: 10/21 Parents Talk On Social Media And Your Kids With Max Stossel
Pelham Together welcomed Max Stossel, founder of Social Awakening, on October 21st for an eye-opening evening with parents on how to support young people growing up in the digital age. Through humor, honesty, and research-backed insights, Max helped parents see the powerful ways social media shapes attention, connection, and self-worth, and offered practical tools to guide kids (and themselves) toward healthier tech habits.
Parents described the event as “one of the best I’ve ever attended in Pelham” and “so timely and incredibly engaging.” So many left feeling both clearer and more confident about how to approach conversations around phones, apps, and screen time at home.
The following week, Max returned to speak directly with Pelham’s 8th and 9th graders, bringing the conversation full circle and reinforcing a shared community commitment to helping our youth live with more balance, intention, and connection.
