Pelham Together Participates In Girl Scout Wellness Day

On March 11th, Pelham Together joined the Girl Scouts and other members of the community for a day of health, wellness, and safety at the Pelham Library. Kim Trapasso, LCSW, and PT Counseling Program Director presented to over 20 5th-7th graders to help them build confidence around home alone safety.  Children and teens at the event were taught important problem solving skills and concrete information that could be used in various different emergencies, all while engaging in games, group discussion, and an art activity.  You can see the presentation here.

The Pelham Together Middle School Club also hosted an event - Friendship Bracelet Making!  See photos of both events above!  If you have a middle school student interested in joining the club, please contact Ms. Kitay (jkitay@pelhamschools.org), or Danielle Marrero, the Pelham Together Youth Advocate (dmarrero@pelhamtogether.org).
